Privacy Policy

Baynhams is a sole trader business operated by Jon Baynham in New South Wales, Australia, ABN 30 415 213 228. This policy explains what personal information I collect through baynhams.com.au, why I collect it, and what happens to it. I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What I collect
When you use the contact form I collect your name, email address and the message you write. If you email me directly I keep that correspondence. When you visit the site, my hosting provider records technical information including your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and an approximate location. If you buy one of my templates, the purchase is handled by Gumroad. I never see or store your card details.
I do not collect sensitive information and I do not ask for it.
Why I collect it
To reply to your enquiry. To deliver the products and services you ask for. To keep the site running, secure and working properly. To meet my tax and legal obligations.
Who I share it with
I use third party services to run the business. The ones that may handle your information are:
- Web3Forms, which delivers contact form submissions to my inbox.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and protects it.
- Google, which provides my email.
- Gumroad, which sells my digital templates.
The contact form submits directly from your browser to Web3Forms. Your name, email address and message reach them without passing through my hosting.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. By using the contact form you consent to that disclosure. Where a provider operates overseas I cannot guarantee they are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles.
I do not sell your personal information. I do not share it with advertisers.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set essential cookies required for security and delivery of the site.
How long I keep it
Contact enquiries are kept for two years unless you ask me to delete them sooner. Records relating to a sale are kept for five years to meet Australian tax record keeping requirements.
Security
Information is held in access controlled accounts protected by strong passwords and multi factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email jon@baynhams.com.au and I will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you think I have mishandled your personal information, email jon@baynhams.com.au and I will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
I may update this policy. The current version always sits on this page with the date it was last changed.
